Sony expects record ticket sales because the tickets go on sale a full month before the film’s release. The tickets become available September 27th. The film was directed by Kenny Ortega and features concert rehearsal and behind the scenes footage, chronicling MJ’s tour plans from April to June, just before his sudden death on June 25th.
The film was developed from over 100 hours of footage and has the full support of the Jackson estate, according to the press release. It is sure to be a once in a lifetime event for the whole family.
